The Vision
Apostle Herman L. Murray envisions empowering believers all over the world with Christian Higher Education. The goals from the beginning were to equip, enlighten and educate those seeking a deeper relationship with the Christ.
The Volunteers
Numerous individuals played a role in developing Apostle Murray’s vision. This included former college professors, administrators, business leaders, pastors and more who gave of their time, talents and resources to see the vision come to fruition.
The Value
After the team was assembled, the next step was to seek credible Bible College curriculum that was both affordable and accessible to the masses. This led to the development of an online platform with courses that could be accessed from laptops and mobile devices.
The Versatility
Once the online platform was underway, the next step was to connect potential students to the career skills (commonly known as soft skills) they needed to excel after graduation. A partnership with the Success Training Institute was chosen to supply soft skills training to those who wanted a truly well-rounded education.
The Vessel
When deciding on a name for the college, the choice was simple. The late Apostle Lobias Murray shined as a beacon of hope and holiness for more than four decades of ministry. As the founder of Full Gospel Holy Temple and Lobias Murray Christian Academy, the greatest way to honor his life, legacy and leadership was to name the new, online institution Murray Bible College and Seminary.
The Vocations
Murray Bible College committed to offer a wide array of majors within the realm of ministry to accommodate almost any believer. This includes Church Administration, Music Ministry, Biblical Counseling and much more. The degree programs range from associates to doctoral to cater to the needs and interests Christians from all walks of life.
The Victory
After months of planning, preparing, presenting and praying, the Murray Bible College and Seminary began accepting its first students during its annual Holy Convocation July 21, 2019. The initial students represent the ushering in of a new era in both higher education and spiritual awakening. The students of 2019 will always be highly regarded for their commitment to the vision of providing inclusive, inexpensive higher educational opportunities for the world to enjoy!
